We clean carpet, upholstery, tile and grout, wood floors, and Oriental and area rugs. Carpets and hard surfaces are cleaned in your home. Rugs are handled differently. They are collected and cleaned off site, because standard on-site carpet methods can cause dye bleeding, fiber damage or shrinkage on a delicate rug. Why can Oriental and area rugs not be cleaned like wall to wall carpet?
Oriental and area rugs are often valuable and delicate. Using standard on-site carpet cleaning methods on them can lead to dye bleeding, fiber damage and shrinkage. That is why we run a separate off-site rug service, so the rug is cleaned under controlled conditions instead of on your living room floor. It is a slower route, and it is the safe one.
Why does my grout still look dark after I mop it?
Regular mopping often pushes soiled water into the grout, and grout is porous. The dirt ends up in the lines rather than off the floor, so over time the grout reads darker than the tile around it. Our tile and grout service lifts that build up out of the lines instead of moving it around, which is what brings the original shine back.
